Venue planner
Pick a district, a venue and a level. You get what the game data settles on its own: the district's customers, a suggested menu with its prices, the menu's part of the stars, rent, permit and limits. Tap any underlined number for its formula and sources.
Total stars and profit per day depend on your staff and your venue, so this page shows them only with a save. Load yours to see them.

Rules for the rest
Without a save these parts of the stars have no values yet. What each one is worth at most, what sets it, and what raises it.
| Part | At most | What sets it | What raises it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Service | 1.68 | The serving skill value of whoever takes and serves the order (0.5 at level 1 up to 1.4) × (0.7 + 0.5 × their satisfaction). | Servers with a higher serving level, and satisfied staff: a wage nearer their asking maximum and a shift close to their preferred hours. |
| Meal quality | 1.35 | The cooking skill value of the cook (0.6 up to 1.5) × (0.7 + 0.5 × their satisfaction); it counts 0.75 × in the review. | Cooks with a higher cooking level, kept satisfied the same way. |
| Freshness | 0.50 | A meal is as fresh as the average of its ingredients: 3 or more days of shelf life left counts 1, 2 days 0.75, 1 day 0.25. | Use stock before it ages. Ingredients that need a fridge lose 2 days of shelf life a day outside one; a manager's purchases arrive fresh. |
| Cleanliness | 0.75 | 1 − trash on the floor ÷ trash spots, when the customer leaves. Below 0.30 every review loses another 0.4 to 0.8 stars. | Someone with the Clean role on shift while customers come: a cleaner picks up trash within minutes (estimate). |
| Comfort | 0.875 | 0.5 × (0.5 × (chair comfort ÷ 3 + table comfort) + venue comfort) for the customer's seat; it counts 0.75 × in the review. | Chairs and tables with more comfort, and decorations. The best seat (a comfort-4 bench at a comfort-3 long table with a comfort-5 item on it) gives 1.17 when venue comfort is 1. |
| Rain and snow | −0.75 | A seat without cover loses 0.75 × the rain amount (above 0.35) or the blizzard intensity, whichever is larger. | Tables under a roof or with a table umbrella lose nothing. |
| Delivery losses | to 1 star | Customers wait up to 90 in-game minutes for their food. Nothing delivered ends the review at 1 star; a missing part costs 0.5 to 1. | Food on the table within 90 minutes of the order, before your staff's hours end. |
Staff quality by skill level
| Level | Serving value | Service (satisfaction 0 to 1) | Cooking value | Meal quality (satisfaction 0 to 1) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.5 | 0.35–0.60 | 0.6 | 0.42–0.72 |
| 2 | 0.6 | 0.42–0.72 | 0.7 | 0.49–0.84 |
| 3 | 0.7 | 0.49–0.84 | 0.8 | 0.56–0.96 |
| 4 | 0.8 | 0.56–0.96 | 0.9 | 0.63–1.08 |
| 5 | 0.9 | 0.63–1.08 | 1.0 | 0.70–1.20 |
| 6 | 1.0 | 0.70–1.20 | 1.1 | 0.77–1.32 |
| 7 | 1.1 | 0.77–1.32 | 1.2 | 0.84–1.44 |
| 8 | 1.2 | 0.84–1.44 | 1.3 | 0.91–1.56 |
| 9 | 1.3 | 0.91–1.56 | 1.4 | 0.98–1.68 |
| 10 | 1.4 | 0.98–1.68 | 1.5 | 1.05–1.80 |
Quality = skill value × (0.7 + 0.5 × satisfaction). Service adds its value to a review; meal quality adds 0.75 × its value.
Wage range by skill level (Lims per hour, starting wage in brackets)
| Level | Cooking or managing only | Serving only | Cleaning only |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1.00–4.00 (2.50) | 1.00–4.00 (2.50) | 1.00–3.00 (2.00) |

| 10 | 2.00–21.00 (11.50) | 1.00–17.00 (9.00) | 1.00–12.00 (6.50) |
For a person with only that skill. More skills widen the range: sum = 1 + cooking level + managing level + 0.75 × serving level + 0.5 × cleaning level (levels as the game shows them), range = 0.1 × sum to 1.9 × sum, rounded up; staff bots × 1.2. New candidates usually ask for the middle.
Your management skill
| Level | Satisfaction bonus | Asking wage |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | +0% | −0% |
| 2 | +10% | −5% |
| 3 | +20% | −10% |
| 4 | +30% | −15% |
| 5 | +40% | −20% |
Satisfaction = wage position between the minimum and the asking maximum × shift fit to the preferred hours × (1 + bonus), from 0 to 1. Below 0.3 staff are unhappy, above 0.8 happy.
